The paper is a very nice cover stock. Work great with my inkjet printer. Holds colors surprisingly well.It arrived with multiple banged up corners. That meant about half of the sheets were not usable. I think this is a huge problem with the way Amazon ships this product. It was sent in a large box with no padding. If you buy any paper from Amazon, be prepared for it to have creased corners.My card making. The 60 lb. is the only one I can use on my printer. So glad I found this product. I received my new order today . Thanks You.This paper quality is excellent. This 60lb version is lighter weight than the typical 100lb version that many of us card makers, crafters and alcohol marker colorists use. This is TOO THIN TO USE AS A CARD BASE. Although it is 60 lbs it feels even lighter due to the super smooth and slick surface. This surface however gives impeccable print and color quality in any printer! I have tried to color printed digital images and and use them on card bases. It worked okay, and some probably would think it’s great for that. Personally, I think even for that, this weight is too thin. Excellent paper, but use of this is for things that do not require thick, sturdy paper. That’s is a PERSONAL CHOICE. Mentioning because I know that with supply chain problems it’s been hard to find this in the 100 lbs variety. This is okay for Copic coloring but not great for card bases or hot foiling with the glimmer machine.I used it for the cover of some programs. Worked wellIt will go through my printer with no problems, print is crisp and clear with no color bleeding.My hobby is bookbinding and it is so hard to find short grain paper--but this is it! I used this to make signatures for an 8.5x11 scrapbook. It folds cleanly along the short edge. The paper has the slightest bit of gloss/sheen but it is soft and the perfect thickness for scrapbooking. There is a slight difference in appearance between the top and underside of a sheet (probably one side is intended for printing over the other) but it's only noticeable if you scrutinize it. I got the premium color copy 60lb 11x17 paper.This paper is not bad for practice. I'm not sure if it is the best for markers though. It was suggested by an artist whose class I took.Good deal on this type paper.This is the second package of Hammerhill paper I have received in the last week where the package had been opened. I'm not going to count up to 250 sheets of paper to see if anything was missing. The previous package was in an undamaged Prime box so it must have been packed in that carton in an opened condition. This package was completely unwrapped and the top few sheets dented and scratched. The Prime carton looked like an elephant had sat on it and then wrapped the exterior box with about a kilometer of transparent tape, One package coming open is an accident two out ot two is a pattern that needs to be examined. I am not a happy customer... WRT both Amazon and Hammerhill.Aside from this, the paper was described as cardstock. It was the flimsiest cardstock I have ever encountered. Will not purchase again; at least not if I need cardstock and receive satisfactory communication from Amazon and/or Hammerhill. It produced good results when printed in colour.I will update if anything comes of this.At first, it was smudging and wasn't printing well because it has a satin finish. Everywhere online said you can't use gloss finish with a laser printer. After being determined to make this paperwork because it was cheaper than anywhere else, I learned that with tweaking of my MacBook print setting and printer settings to print for a coated paper it printed perfectly. Sharp colours and our real estate photos printed great on this paper. The photo attached is an explanation of my settings to have it print with a laser printer. Hope it helps someone.The 2 stars are not for the Hammermill product itself, which is a paper we have used for years. It's a great product. The 2 stars reflects the poor quality of the delivery. Each of the 5 packs of paper we received (3 in one parcel and 2 in the other) were damaged and not all of the paper will prove to be useful. There was no cushioning in one of the parcels and insufficient cushioning in the other and so the paper could move freely in the boxes - we think this may have contributed to the poor quality product we received although we do not know that for sure. Amazon have been good enough to address this quickly with a credit and for that, we are grateful, but we just wanted people to know this may not be the best product to have delivered, rather than buying direct from a paper supplier as we might more typically have done and which we will do in future.smooth finish and thick/dense paper. only flaw is the shipping where the corners are usually banged up from not having any fillers in the box so it's great for me since I work in a print shop and have access to a 36" hydraulic cutter.works great in inkjet printers but not for laser because it comes out with an insane curlThe product itself will probably be fine (it's just cardstock) but the packaging was completely open when I opened the outer box. I have no idea if all 250 sheets are still there (and I'm not really about to sit and count). Since it was the only thing shipped in the outer box, I'm assuming all the tears in the packaging and the fact that the packaging was open were all there to begin with. Is Amazon now shipping items that are very obviously not "New" as new items??
